Sounds like their slot department has folks that never worked in casinos. I go to Mountaineer and spend the same money and get back $250 every time I am there. Cheap, cheap, cheap!!! One other point, I play all over the country and spend the same money at Rivers as I do in Mohegan, Ct, I had 14 tax forms from Mohegan last year, 0 from Rivers, and because I only go into Pittsburgh once a month or every other month, I get exactly nothing in player perks. Not Fair!!! Penny machines, play maximum bets and you may lose over $500 in an hour or two, no fun. I have gone into this casino the day after playing in a progressive jackpot area, where not one jackpot was hit in over a 6 hour period, yet, come in early in the morning, all of them are reset to $1,000. i am around casinos enough to know if a progressive starts at $1,000 on a Quick Hit dollar machine, that you will have the totals at various amounts all the time. Another issue that should be addressed I go to the casino various times of the day and have noticed early in the day the 'progressive' machines all appear to be reset, maybe with a couple of exceptions. You can keep taking more classes to deal more. Base pay starts at under 5/hr tips usually average about 18-20/hr. The first few weeks are really awkward, but then it becomes really fun. The initial paid training makes your days very long if you're currently working. Meanwhile I get one everytime I am at Mountaineer. Table Games Dealer (Former Employee) - Pittsburgh, PA - November 14, 2021. As a dollar and five dollar player normally, I have not had a single tax form from this casino in over a year. I have walked the casino numerous times and am yet to see slot jackpots at any frequency. I have to say Rivers Casino has about the worst slot machines I have seen on the East Coast.
